Books I have found interesting
It is interesting with technical books. It seems so often people think that the latest/greatest book on the latest/greatest technology are the best reads while in reality, its the books that address general concepts and principles that stand the test of time and provide long term value to folks working in the technical area.
Some of those that I have found over the years are below. Note that this list is incomplete, I just decided to add it after a conversation about tech stuff I also usually prefer to give a book a good ten years or more of thought before reommending it to friends.
